Brittany Galmut
Brittany completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Queens University in 2012 following her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley in 2010. She jumped right into private practice in the Fraser Valley following graduation and has added extra education in IMS/dry needling, concussion rehabilitation, and manual therapy to allow her to help clients in their unique recoveries. Her treatments include hands on therapy, needling techniques, education on your injury, and exercise prescription to encourage long lasting relief and self-management. Brittany is passionate about helping clients with their personal goals following an injury, be it getting back to a specific sport, hobby, or as importantly, the duties of normal everyday life. She loves getting to know her clients specific needs and developing a plan alongside them. Specific course work has included Kinetacore Level 1 and 2 of Functional Dry Needling (IMS), Level 3 Manual Therapy in the Orthopaedic Division of Physiotherapy, Upledger’s Craniosacral Therapy Level 1, RTP Concussion Management, Mulligan Concept Upper Quadrant, and Soft Tissue Release. Outside of her time at the clinic, Brittany enjoys getting outside to hike and adventure in our beautiful British Columbia with her husband and young daughter.
