Rebecca has been working as an orthopedic physiotherapist for 12 years. She graduated with her Master’s degree in physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2006, after having completed a degree in Kinesiology from Acadia University. She worked in private practice in Edmonton for 7 years before making the move to Chilliwack, where she had worked at Fraser Valley/CBI Chilliwack before joining Chilliwack Sports Medicine Clinic. Rebecca has extensive training in needling, having done her level one acupuncture certification as well as IMS/dry needling. She has also done post graduate courses in joint mobilization/manipulation, myofascial decompression (cupping), McGill low back certification and advanced clinical reasoning. She also has a special interest in treating running injuries as well as all types of orthopedic conditions. When she is not working, Rebecca is often travelling to various NFL games and other sporting events. She loves being outside, especially anything involving being close to the ocean!
